Guide Genie grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the application for your personal, non-commercial use.

• Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code.

• Use the app in any unlawful manner.

3. Walking Tours

Guide Genie provides self-guided walking tours using GPS, audio, images and augmented reality.

The information provided is intended for educational and entertainment purposes.

4. User Safety

You are responsible for your own safety while using the app.

Always:

• Remain aware of your surroundings.

• Obey road traffic laws and pedestrian crossings.

• Keep a safe distance from roads, rivers, construction sites and other hazards.

• Do not use the app where it may distract you from your surroundings.

Guide Genie should never be relied upon as a navigation or safety device.

5. GPS Accuracy

GPS positioning depends upon satellite coverage, your device and environmental conditions.

Location triggers may activate earlier or later than expected and should be regarded as approximate only.

6. Historical Information

Every effort has been made to ensure the historical information within Guide Genie is accurate.

History is continually researched and interpretations may differ between historians and sources. Guide Genie cannot guarantee that every statement is free from error.

7. Augmented Reality

The augmented reality (AR) features are designed for use in safe environments.

Always remain aware of your surroundings while using the camera.

Never use AR while crossing roads or in situations where your attention is required.

8. Purchases

Where tours or content are purchased through the Google Play Store or other authorised stores, those purchases are subject to the terms and refund policies of the relevant app store.

9. Intellectual Property

All text, photographs, illustrations, audio recordings, maps, graphics, software and other content within Guide Genie are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

10. Limitation of Liability

• Errors or omissions in historical content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
